Seven weeks of football. 148 players to collect. Daily flash events tied to real-world matches. A redesigned home screen, new in-game systems, and exclusive partner drops with McDonald's, adiClub, and FIFA Rewards.

The season at a glance
The FIFA World Cup 2026™ Season runs from June 5 through July 23, split into two halves (4 weeks + 3 weeks). Halfway through on July 2, a new Season Pass launches and Leagues reset. The Season Challenge and Season Shop carry through the whole run.
Over the seven weeks, you can unlock:

Monthly Mythical Chases: Vinícius Júnior (Brazil) in Phase 1, Lamine Yamal (Spain) in Phase 2

Nation Flash Events
Every match day of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ brings a new set of Nation Flash Events to FIFA Rivals, tied directly to the real-world matches.
How they work:
Two events go live each day, one for each nation playing in the day's marquee matchup
Build a full squad of players from that nation to enter
Win 10 matches to complete the event and claim the rewards
The first matchday event is June 11 with Mexico vs. South Africa. Day two: USA vs. Paraguay. Check the flash events tab in-game to see what's live.

The new season also rolls out some major in-game updates:
Squad Levels, Squad Shop, and Squad Goals launch with the season, bringing new ways to progress and earn rewards as a squad

McDonald's
The McDonald's app hosts two exclusive bundles: the Grimace Bundle (starts June 9) and the Trophy Bundle (starts July 1). Both are packed with players and gear, including the Grimace Boots that unlock a special in-game mode. Available in select regions below:
